Driving Lessons

One fun thing about our new neighborhood is that sometimes people leave out some pretty nice “trash.” I found this battery-operated kid’s tractor and brought it home. (And the table pictured at the end of the video is from “the trash,” too. No worries, though, I don’t go comb through the trash cans. :)) To our surprise, it works, though I think the battery is dying. Hana Kate was so excited, as she’s been asking for one of these. Even if it dies tomorrow, we had our fun playing with the trash. It’s certainly not beautiful, but I don’t think she notices. Here’s Hana Kate driving her first tractor. (We’d helped her with the steering earlier–I wasn’t just trying to be a remote-control parent.):

YAY! For free “trash”! I always mortify my husband when I see some nice furniture or something on the side of the road and cart it home. 🙂 Haha! Looks like she’s having fun! Cutie!
