“I want to go see Jesus, but not be dead. I want to just go see Jesus and talk to Him.” (After talking about when she was a baby, Grandpa Hawley was there to see her, and then the discussion went on to wanting to see Grandpa Hawley, and the fact that he was now in heaven with Jesus.)
“Daddy, can you talk to me about those people who don’t have anything? I want to read our food book that we pray for people for at lunchtime!” (Operation World)
“Mommy, Daddy’s iPad has been sleeping. It’s been taking a little break and taking a nap for a while.”
“Mommy, why do you and Daddy always laugh at what I say?” (I told her that what she says makes us so happy that we can’t help but laugh.)
All those questions (and more) were asked in a time frame of less than 5 minutes. This next questions was asked probably less than 5 minutes later:
“Daddy, why do I have a hole in my pajamas? Is it because these clothes need to have air blow through them?” (She had a small hole in the seam of her pj’s.).
