The Cleaning Ladies

January 14, 2011

Ever since arriving back from West Virginia 2 weeks ago, Hana Kate has been obsessed with cleaning! It has been so fun (and funny) to see her enjoy it so much. She is frequently begging, “Can I help you, Mommy?” and dusting/wiping surfaces is something she can actually do well on her own and that she likes. It’s also fun to spray the water in her mouth, she informs me. 🙂 Thankfully I found the water spray bottle before depleting my supply of Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning spray! Just give her a spray bottle and rag, and she’ll be busy for a while. And maybe a little bit wet, too. And Eden…well, if Hana Kate seems to be enjoying something, then she figures that she should be doing it, too.

So, here they are cleaning. Just under 1.5 minutes packed full of action shots and cleaning tips from my very own, cute cleaning ladies doing their favorite chore: dusting!:

That’s hilarious! Wonder if the cleaning spree was activated by a trip to WV? Some things I’ve seen in WV make me want to clean too! 🙂

Hmm…I suppose it’s likely. The first errand I ran while up there, I looked at the parking lot and thought, “Wow, it is so dirty up here!” Of course, it was cloudy (with smog from factories) and everyone’s car had salt and grime on it from snow treatment. Actually, I think it was due to my cleaning spree, which *was* likely activated by our trip there. Of course, we saw lots of beautiful places, too. 😉
