Eden is now 9 weeks old. Hard to believe she’s 2 months old now. Whoever told me things go more quickly with the second was right. But I am soaking up these special days.
Milestones: Eden is smiling and cooing a lot more. She can sometimes spot her daddy smiling at her from across the room, and smiles right back. She also likes to watch Hana Kate. This is so precious to me to see. She loves to be sung and talked to, too. Sunday night was her first time in the nursery.
Eating: Eats approximately ever 3 hours during the day, had a “growth spurt” and fed every 2 hours during the day.
Sleeping: She slept in Hana Kate’s room all week. Sunday really wore here out (it was the first time she was there for all 3 services, due to HK’s injury and various sicknesses), and I put her to bed at 6:30p.m. Sunday night…and she didn’t wake up until 6:50a.m. on Monday. I really missed her going to bed so early! Working her bedtime back to 7p.m. Still sleeping 12 hours a night. Yay. Don’t worry-I still have sleepless nights…when I fail to go to the chiropractor as frequently as I should.
Demeanor: A little fussier since Sunday of this week. 🙁 But still very smiley, and rarely unable to make stop crying.
We went to the zoo for a short time. She slept most of the while. We’re also trying out cloth diapers now (running out of disposable, and don’t have a vehicle–pretty good way to force us to get started. A little big, but not bad. :))
Stats: 14 lbs.(!)
And, oh yeah, her Mommy mispelled her name! 😉 I was trying to write it out in all caps, and apparently got distracted. Guess her new nickname will be Ed-Ed. Check it out:
