Our little girl is still safe and warm inside her mommy and doesn’t seem to be indicating an imminent exodus. Though we’ve had a few moments of anxiousness and impatience, for the most part we have been truly thankful for the extra time we’ve had to organize, clean, and prepare (and update this blog!). We have an appointment later today, so we’ll see if there’s any news.
We do have heat again, but there are some complications for which we are praying for God to “turn the [company’s] heart” in His hand “like the rivers of waters.” We would appreciate prayer regarding this, and are blessed to rest in the knowledge that His way is always best, and praise Him for a warm home.
Daniel has been unable to find additional work outside his part-time job, but the Lord continues to meet our needs and we’ve enjoyed the extra time together. He’s also been able to work on some much needed repairs and projects and does an amazing job! Lord-willing, though, he’ll start working full-time at his new job mid-February.
